Accurate hand pulse oximeter HS series
Hand pulse oximeter HS-20A with
Hand pulse oximeter for all patient groups
The hand-held pulse oximeters in the HS series measure oxygen saturation (SpO²) and pulse rate (PR) quickly and painlessly – two key vital parameters for assessing respiratory function. They are indispensable in everyday clinical practice, during emergency operations in the rescue service and for home monitoring.
ACCARE hand-held pulse oximeters from Accurate are designed to reliably cover all age groups – from newborns to children and adults. Special sensors and high-precision measurement technology enable stable readings even with poor circulation or restless patients.
Whether in the intensive care unit, in the emergency services or during aftercare at home – with our devices you are equipped for every situation.

ACCARE HS-10A
ACCARE HS-20A
The HS-10A hand pulse oximeter from Accare is an all-rounder when it comes to obtaining reliable values for oxygen saturation (SpO2) or pulse rate (PR).
It enables non-invasive measurement for all age groups (newborns to adults) and is used specifically in hospitals, clinics, doctors’ surgeries and the emergency services.
Further differences can be found in the technical specifications.
The ACCARE HS-20A hand-held pulse oximeter enables non-invasive SpO2 detection in all age groups, including neonates, children and adults. Thanks to the latest multispectral analysis technology, the pulse oximeter provides stable and precise measurement results even with poor blood flow, as is often the case with small children or the elderly. The device has several functions such as data storage and anomaly alarm. In the event of abnormal values, an audible and visual alarm is triggered; the measurement data can also be saved in real time.

Adjustable Alarm limits
Our hand pulse oximeters have freely adjustable alarm limits for oxygen saturation (SpO2) and pulse rate (PR). This allows users to adjust limit values individually to the respective patient or application – whether in a clinical environment, in the emergency services or for home monitoring. In the event of deviations, the devices emit a visual and audible alarm, enabling a rapid response before the patient’s condition deteriorates.
Sophisticated Cover
Each device is equipped with a robust silicone protective cover for everyday protection. This not only provides reliable protection against knocks and scratches, but also has an integrated stand that can be locked in place. This allows the hand-held pulse oximeter to be placed securely in an upright position – ideal for better readability of the measured values and to prevent accidental tipping over in clinical or domestic use. Practical, stable and user-friendly – well thought out down to the last detail.
It goes without saying that the protective cover is included in the scope of delivery and does not have to be purchased separately!

Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions about our BF-DP video laryngoscope!
A pulse oximeter is a medical device for the non-invasive measurement of arterial oxygen saturation (SpO₂) and pulse rate. It provides important vital parameters in real time and is an essential monitoring tool in both preclinical and clinical settings.
-
Finger pulse oximeter: Compact, ideal for quick use on patients, often without external sensors. Less suitable for long-term monitoring.
-
Hand-held pulse oximeter: Portable devices with external sensor. Higher measurement accuracy, extended functions (e.g. alarms, storage options).
-
Stationary devices: Integrated into monitoring systems. For continuous monitoring in intensive care units or operating theaters.
Hand pulse oximeters are ideal for:
-
Rescue service and emergency medicine
-
Laying and transportation monitoring
-
Hospital wards without central monitor surveillance
-
Nursing homes and home visits
Modern hand-held pulse oximeters with high-quality sensors and algorithms achieve a measurement accuracy of ±2 % with a SpO₂ between 70 %-100 %. Even with movement or low perfusion, premium devices such as our HS-10A and HS-20A hand pulse oximeters deliver stable values.
This function enables reliable measurements even with restricted peripheral blood flow, e.g. in the event of shock, hypothermia or vasoconstriction – a decisive advantage in the emergency services.
Yes, many of our professional hand pulse oximeters have freely adjustable alarm thresholds for SpO₂ and pulse rate – both visual and audible. This improves patient safety during monitoring.
Hand-held pulse oximeters usually provide support:
-
Finger clip sensors for adults
-
Soft sensors for longer applications
-
Child sensors / newborn sensors for pediatric applications
Compatibility with SpO₂ sensors depends on the model and should be checked before purchase.
